Quarry Road Bridge Replacement

The Town of Suffield, Connecticut is soliciting sealed bids for The Replacement of Quarry Road Bridge No. 139011. This project generally consists of the complete replacement of the existing bridge. The bridge includes a steel stringer and concrete deck superstructure supported on stone masonry abutment walls. The new structure is twin precast concrete box culverts with precast concrete wingwalls. The work also includes roadway reconstruction, placement of metal beam rail, bridge rail, associated regrading and turf restoration, riprap installation, temporary water handling, traffic control and other miscellaneous site work. The work described above includes furnishing, installing and incorporating all materials and equipment into the project as well as performing or providing all labor, supervision, equipment and services unless otherwise noted within the bid documents for the lump sum base bid.
