2026 Janitorial bid for Police Department

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado, will be received at the office of the General Services Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, CO  81321, until 3:30 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.

BID ITEM: Janitorial Services for the Cortez Police Department

Contractor to provide all the necessary equipment and cleaning supplies required for the satisfactory completion of the work described in the specifications.

Copies of the specifications and instructions for bidders are available at the City Service Center (970.565.7320) and on the City’s website at www.cortezco.gov

A MANDATORY WALKTHROUGH will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025,                       at 2:00 PM.  All interested service providers are to meet on site.

Bids shall be submitted in writing and signed by the bidder or its duly authorized agent.  Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, and marked on the outside with “BID – 2026 CORTEZ POLICE DEPARTMENT JANITORIAL SERVICES” and with the bidder’s name.

The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
