Craven County Fiber Relocation for NCDOT Project R-5777C
General Notice
Craven County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Craven County Fiber Relocation for NCDOT Project R-5777C Project # 2026_CCFO_001
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Craven County Administration Building located at 406 Craven Street, New Bern, NC, until Thursday, May 14th at 2:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Installation and splicing of approximately 37,000 linear feet of fiber optic cable into existing conduit and handholes in association with NCDOT Project R-5777C. The work will be split into 3 segments with the first being available in 2026, the second in 2027, and the third in 2028.
Bids are requested for the following Contract:

Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website:

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, April 30?? at 2:00 p.m. in the 1st Floor Elections Conference Room in the Craven County Administration Building located at 406 Craven Street, New Bern, NC 28560. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
