I. GENERAL INFORMATION

II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Mason Farm Wastewater Treatment Plant (MFWWTP) currently operates four
anaerobic digesters. A blend of thickened primary sludge and waste activate sludge is
passed through the anaerobic digesters where sludge goes through a temperature phased
digestion to produce Class A biosolids product. The four digesters are arranged in series
with biosolids passing through Digester 4 and 3 (temperatures heated between 137-140-
degree F) followed by Digester 2 and 1.
Anerobic Digester Tank No. 2 was originally constructed in 1979 with a diameter of 50ft,
side water depth of 23ft, and operating volumes of 700,000 million gallons to 1 MG per
month. The tank serves mainly as an equalization tank to accept transfers from Digester
No. 3 and transfers to Digester No. 1.
The scope of work includes unit prices for content removal and disposal as well as
cleaning of Digester 2. The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete
description of all work required. Please refer to the attached specifications and reference
drawings for detailed project information and scope of work.

III. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
A. Company Information and Experience
1. History of company and years of experience, knowledge and understanding of the
project scope.
2. Location of office(s) which will be involved in the project.
3. Name, location and qualifications of Project Manager and other key personnel and
their availability and experience in similar type of work.
4. Proposed method of safely performing the work with minimal impact to plant
operations.
5. Identify three references and provide contact information. Two of the references
must be an application of similar work in municipal wastewater treatment plants.
