CWU-69-L: Fairview Suites Water Heater Replacement
Commonwealth University – Lock Haven Campus of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Plumbing and Electrical Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this Project consists of the mechanical and electrical utility modifications required to support the replacement of the Cooling Tower and Pumps in the Willis Health Professions Center to include demolish existing gas fired water heaters, pads, piping, and accessories, demolish existing hot water storage tank, pad, piping, and accessories, provide new gas-fired instantaneous, modular water heaters, racks, piping, housekeeping pads and accessories, provide new gas, hot water, cold water, recirculating hot water, flue exhaust, and combustion air piping and accessories, disconnect and remove existing circuits serving the water heaters and accessories to be removed and replaced and provide new circuits for new water heaters, circulating pumps, and accessories.
Work shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the Plumbing Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University.
A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on February 4, 2025, at 11:00 am @ 95 W. Fourth St. Facilities Building Lock Haven PA 17745.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EST on February 27, 2025, through PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint located at http://seller.ariba.com.
