TOWN OF COVENTRY
INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids for “MILLER RICHARSON PARK, CHAIN LINK FENCE PROJECT, On Main Street (CT RT 31)” will be received until 2:00 PM (local time) Thursday, November 6, 2025 in the Town Manager’s Office, Town Hall, 1712 Main Street, Coventry, CT. This project involves the installation of 1170 Linear Feet of 5 foot high all black chain link fence. The perspective bidder shall make themselves aware of the project area prior to submitting bids.
Contract documents, pdf format, can be obtained from the Town’s website under Bid Postings at
https://www.coventryct.org/bids.aspx. 
; Bidder shall utilize the bid form, 10% bid bond, projected contractor’s schedule, qualifications of bidder, and non-collusion forms in the manual. The Town desires to complete the work this year but is flexible if delayed to Spring 2026.
The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
No Bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
