NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Town of Natick, Natick Town Hall, 13 East Central Street, Natick, MA 01760 (“the Town”) invites the submission of sealed bids for Services Related to The Furnishing of Roadway Crosswalk and Access Improvements. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work “Traffic Signals” for Services Related to the Furnishing of Rectangular Rapid Fire Beacons (RRFB’s), access ramp improvements and Crosswalk Markings, with an estimated value of $ 469,605.00 will be required. The Invitation for Bids (“IFB”) may be obtained from the Town of Natick, Department of Public Works, 75 West Street, Natick, MA 01760, by emailing For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. between 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. local time, Monday through Thursday, and between 7:30 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. on Fridays, beginning at 7:30 A.M., on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Please do not request prior to that due date/time. Please request during the above hours only. Sealed Bids will be received until 9:00 A.M., local time, February 6, 2026, at the Department of Public Works, 75 West Street, Natick, MA 01760 and will be opened in the presence of a witness.  Bid opening may be viewed virtually at the following ZOOM address: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81575257870 Meeting ID: 815 7525 7870 If the Procurement Office is closed due to weather or other emergency, the deadline for receipt of bids shall be extended until 9:00 A.M. the next business day that the Procurement Office is open. All Bids shall comply with the IFB issued by the Town of Natick, including, without limitation, Section 1, Instructions to Bidders, and Bid Submission Requirements. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any, any part of, or all Bids in the best interest of the Town. Any Bid submitted will be binding for thirty (30) days subsequent to the time of bid opening.

This contract contains price adjustments for bituminous concrete mixtures, diesel fuel, and gasoline. The base price for Portland cement on this project is $425.13 per ton (Dec 2025). The base price for liquid asphalt on this project is $625.00 per ton (Dec. 2025). The base price for diesel fuel is $_2.996 per gallon (Nov 2025) and for gasoline is $2.411 per gallon. (Nov 2025). Award is subject to appropriation and approval of the Town Administrator.
