Sealed bids submitted to the City of Kyle will be received for the Vybe Trail: Kyle Marketplace Section Two - St. David Connector Segment Project, in accordance with the Specifications, and Contract Documents, will be received at the OpenGov Procurement Portal , until 3:00 pm , Tuesday, April 21, 2026 , and then publicly opened and read aloud. Any Proposal received after this time will be rejected.
Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows:
Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in a penal sum approximately equal to and not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The security shall be in the form of a certified check or cashier’s check, or bid bond furnished by a reliable surety company having authority under the laws of Texas to write surety bond in the amount required, with such security made payable without recourse to the City of Kyle.
No fax submissions will be accepted. No late submissions will be accepted.
State statutes including wage and hour provisions and contract regulations must be adhered to as they relate to this project. Contractors will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations.
City of Kyle reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Kyle for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award. The final Notice of Award of Contract shall be given to the successful bidder by the City of Kyle within sixty (60) days following the opening of bids and no bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after opening thereof.
Bidders should carefully examine the plans, specifications and other documents, visit the site of work, and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or the cost thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the plans, specifications or other documents, or should be in doubt as to their meaning, bidder should notify the authorized contact person and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bid, but no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, April 6, 2026 .
Time of substantial completion shall be 165 .
A Non-Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 2:30 pm at https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/24939069770738?p=J39TpNMGm2zPnaI9Sz . Attendance at the meeting is Non-Mandatory ; however, meeting minutes will not be issued.
