Employee Life & Disability Insurance- Voluntary Benefits

Project Description: The purpose of the Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) is to procure the following services:
City of Dallas Employer Paid Benefits:
• Basic Life Insurance
• Basic AD&D Insurance (not a current benefit in place today for City of Dallas)
• Long Term Disability (for employees with at least one year of continuous employment)
• Grandfathered Life (for a closed class of City of Dallas retired employees)
• Financial Wellness
Employee Paid Benefits:
• Supplemental Life
• Supplemental AD&D
• Voluntary Short-Term Disability
• Voluntary Long-Term Disability (for employees with less than one year of employment)
• Accident
• Critical Illness
• Hospital Indemnity
• Legal Benefits
• Pet Insurance Benefits
The City of Dallas will consider the opportunity to bundle these services with one vendor for improved efficiency and will also accept individual proposals from quoting vendors. Proposing vendors will need to clearly indicate their bundled & unbundled services & fees.
Additionally, the City will require administration, onsite service and communications support. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous proposer as determined by the evaluation criteria. The term of this agreement will be for three (3) years with two (2) one-year renewal options.
