Notice of Intent to Sole Source- Repair of AM-2321/SIA Audio Frequency Amplifier

In accordance FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Dynalec Corporation.

The United States Coast Guard intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Dynalec Corporation, 87 W. Main Street, PO Box 188, Sodus, New York, 14551-1137. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Dynalec Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the AM-2321/SIA Audio Frequency Amplifiers (part number: 60526) and only vendor capable of repairing this equipment. Due to the proprietary nature of the Audio Frequency Amplifiers, there is no way to modify products by other manufacturers to work with the USCG’s existing components or equipment.

This requirement is to procure repair services for the repair of QTY 6, AM-2321/SIA Audio Frequency Amplifiers. The manufacturer part number is 60526 and the National Stock Number is 5895-00-226-6522.

All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than (NLT) 1:00 PM ET of Wednesday, 11 June 2025.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
