Mechanical Engineering Services for Design and Assessment Services

The Metropolitan Council is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering design firms to provide
engineering design services on an as-needed basis, for the design and assessment of the
mechanical systems throughout Metro Transit. The intent of the Council is to award one (1)
professional services contract, with the services being provided over a five-year period.
The anticipated schedule for this procurement is as follows:

For the purposes of this contract, there are no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), or
Metropolitan Council Underutilized Business (MCUB) goals set for this project. However, the Council
strives to ensure equitable participation of minority, women and underutilized businesses in projects
and procurements, and strongly encourages the inclusion of small businesses in this contract. DBE
