Berkley Road Sidewalk Improvement Project

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that Easttown Township (the “Owner”) will accept sealed proposals for the Berkley Road Sidewalk Improvement Project located on Berkley Road (T-303) at the intersections with Devon Boulevard (T-311) and Dorset Road (T-310) in Easttown Township, Chester County, PA.
Bids will be accepted electronically until 11:00 AM, August 6, 2025, via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Plans and specifications are available online at no charge via PennBid. Click on the “Bids” button then search for the project titled “BERKLEY ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT”.
Questions must be submitted via PennBid by July 30, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Bids must be received by 11:00 AM on August 6, 2025. Bids results will be opened at 2:00 PM on August 6, 2025 at Easttown Township Office located at 566 Beaumont Road, Devon, PA 19333. The results will subsequently be posted to PennBid.
All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids. The successful Bidder must comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408/2020, as supplemented and amended, Section 102. Subcontractors must pre-qualify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if they subsequently undertakes the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All Bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified Contractors.
