UTRGV Official Class Ring and Athletics Jewelry Programs

Project Description: The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (University) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to perform work (Work) more specifically described in Section 5.4 (Scope of Work) of this Request for Proposal (RFP), including (1) production of the UTRGV official ring; (2) aggressive marketing and merchandising the official ring; and (3) providing excellent customer service.
As an optional bid for Athletics Jewelry, University is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide all artwork, labor, materials, equipment tools and operations necessary to design and produce award rings, pendants, and accessories, as requested by appointed representatives of UTRGV Athletics. The following conditions will apply for the Athletics Jewelry program:
a. No minimum quantities or minimum dollar amounts are guaranteed or implied. Any agreement that results from this RFP will be a blanket purchase agreement. Work will be requested by University on an as-needed basis.
b. It is anticipated that services under the resulting contract(s) may be used on an as needed basis over the life of the contract term, including any option to renew terms.
c. Medallions are occasionally ordered and are considered in the scope of this RFP. Rings, pendants and medallions (“Rings”) are ordered for student-athletes, as well as coaching staff, supporting personnel, and other approved recipients (“Recipients”).
The University reserves the right to make multiple awards against this RFP. University will determine the award for each Contractor and can adjust as needed during the term of the Agreement.
