The purpose of this bid, and the requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the bids received, is to provide sodium hypochlorite solution used to reduce E. coli bacteria concentrations to within the respective National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit limits in the processes at the Easterly, Southerly, and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD).
