The Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Warrior Care at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) requires one Subject Chair to be utilized with its existing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation System as part of Research and Development. This specific equipment is designed to provide seating that will allow for the completion of transcranial magnetic therapy for the Servicemember (SM) exhibiting depressive symptoms and a history of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
1. Essential Characteristics:
a. Seller must provide subject chair compatible with the existing Brainway Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation System, Rapid 2 with Magstim 3910 Coil.
b. The seller must provide a subject that is supportable in human research environment.
c. The seller must provide a subject chair that can adjust to the patient's height.
d. The seller must provide a subject chair capable of delivering multiple seated positions, including the supine position and upright position.
e. The seller must provide a subject chair with an adjustable leg rest.
f. The seller must provide a subject chair with a retractable armrest.
g. The seller must provide a subject chair with articulating coil arms.
h. The seller must provide a subject chair with an adjustable forehead and chin rest.
i. The seller must provide a subject chair with a magnetic air fil coil for peripheral nerve stimulation.
j. The seller must provide a subject chair with a coil arm mount.
k. The seller must provide a subject chair with the capabilities of three tracker reflective spheres.
l. The seller shall provide two copies of the operator/user manual.
m. The seller must be an authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller for the proposed system.
n. The seller must provide a warranty for the device by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
