Design Engineering and Environmental Services for the Garberville Redwood Drive Complete Streets

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals are invited by the Humboldt County

Department of Public Works, for the following:

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP No. DPW2026-006) FOR THE PROVISION OF DESIGN ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR THE GARBERVILLE REDWOOD DRIVE COMPLETE STREETS PROJECT

The Humboldt County Department of Public Works is accepting sealed Proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide design engineering and environmental services for the Garberville Redwood Drive Complete Streets Project.  The County will select a consultant based on their experience, availability of personnel, and other considerations as noted in the RFP to award a consultant services agreement.

If you wish to submit a proposal, submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy of all requested information in a sealed envelope. A return address and the words “RFP No. DPW2026-006” must be printed on the outside face of the envelope.

Sealed proposals must be received by Public Works, 1106 2nd Street, Eureka, CA by 4:00 P.M. (PT) on Friday, September 25, 2026.  Proposals received late will be rejected and returned unopened. The County of Humboldt reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.

Request for Proposals (“RFP”) documents will be available for examination at the Department of Public Works, 1106 Second Street, Eureka, CA 95501, Phone: (707) 445-7377.  Complete RFP documents may be obtained through the Department of Public Works Office.  RFP documents can also be found on the Humboldt County Website under Public Works Department, via (https://humboldtgov.org/Bids.aspx).
