Description View Changes

The purpose of this requirement is to replace the existing engine in the Prinoth SW4S snow groomer with a new short block (NH75107U0196435), and to perform all necessary tasks to ensure the equipment is fully operational and meets all manufacturer's specifications and recommendations. The Contractor shall procure a new short block (NH75107U0196435) and arrange for its shipping to their facility. Upon completion of the work, the Contractor shall return the old engine core to the manufacturer in accordance with their return requirements for their core charge.

The Contractor shall disassemble the old engine to salvage accessory parts, and then install these parts on the new engine block assembly. The Contractor shall then reinstall the new engine, hydraulic pumps, enclosure, and hydraulic tanks. Additionally, the Contractor shall refill the hydraulic system with new hydraulic oil, rewire the engine harness, and reprogram the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).

Finally, the Contractor shall test run the equipment to ensure proper functioning and verify that the Prinoth SW4S snow blower is fully operational after the engine replacement.

Contractor shall provide Perkins cerifications which allows work on perkins engines to avoid voiding warranty.
