The District invites detailed Proposals from well qualified synthetic turf contractors (“Proponents”) with expertise in the supply and installation of infilled synthetic turf systems.

The project involves the supply and installation of a synthetic turf surfacing system, including the removal and disposal of existing turf, at Windsor Secondary Field, which is located at 931 Broadview Dr, North Vancouver, B.C, Canada.

SYNTHETIC TURF PLAYING FIELD: The work that is the subject of this RFP generally includes removal and disposal of existing synthetic turf, regrading of existing base gravel, supply and installation of new infilled synthetic turf surfacing system, including synthetic turf, infill, and underlying shock pad, with a finished surface area of approximately 10,150 square meters. The synthetic turf system is to be constructed to perform as a multi-use sports field designed to accommodate soccer, football, rugby, and field hockey. This work forms the base scope of the RFP.

The District is seeking to obtain Proposals for a synthetic turf system best suited for soccer and other field sports including football, rugby, and field hockey, with a preference for a minimum 50mm high monofilament and slit film system. The turf system is to also exhibit soccer performance qualities meeting FIFA Quality criteria. Post construction FIFA Quality testing and FIFA Quality certification is required and is part of this RFP’s scope of work.
