The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified Contractors who are able to meet the requirements identified in the accompanying Statement of Work. The East Orange and Lyons VAMC Campuses (385 Tremont Ave, East Orange NJ, 07018) are seeking a vendor to provide various kitchen products for meal preparation and service.

The NAICS Code is 332215 Metal Kitchen Cookware, Utensil, Cutlery, and Flatware Manufacturing.
Interested Contractors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective Contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.

Special Instructions
Installations completed during normal business hours. Monday Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm
Receipt of equipment at local installer s office or delivery to customer s facility at a pre scheduled time
Uncrating and set in place in existing location on the ground level
Validation equipment is working properly upon completion of installation
Removal of packaging materials and rubbish

Warranty/Guarantee information Standard warranty - 1-Year parts, labor varies for each piece of equipment.

The Contracting Officer or his/her designee will notify the contractor of any noncompliance with the foregoing provisions and the action to be taken. The Contractor shall, after receipt of such notice, immediately correct the conditions to which attention has been directed. Such notice, when served on the Contractor or his/her representative at the site of the work, shall be deemed sufficient for the purpose aforesaid. If the Contractor fails or refuses to comply promptly, the Contracting Officer may issue an order stopping all and any part of the work, and hold the Contractor in default.
Government Furnished Property
Customer location facilities personnel will be responsible for running proper utilities and making final utility connections to all equipment as well as removal of any existing equipment if need be.
Inspection/Acceptance

All equipment will be inspected after uncrating and prior to being connected. Upon delivery and assembly, the [Helen Kane/Natalie Roberts-Moore] will perform the inspection. This inspection will ensure that all equipment/supplies are accounted for in the delivery and that there are no discrepancies with the delivered items. Any damaged items identified during the inspection will not be accepted.
