Sand Hills State Forest is currently accepting bids for longleaf and mixed pinestraw stands for the purpose of raking and bailing. There are approximately 1,699 acres available to rake across 42 separate stands. Sale areas are located in Chesterfield County. An Orange sign indicating Stand Number and acreage will be placed at a visible location for each stand.
Bidders are encouraged to inspect the sale area to determine the volume estimates and raking conditions. The SC Forestry Commission will not be responsible for areas that are overbid.
