Project Description: Notice is hereby given that the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors, Butler County, 2525 Rochester Road, Suite 400, Cranberry Township, PA 16066-6499, will accept sealed bids for the following contract:
2026 Paving Program - Contract No. 2026-355 Fiber Reinforced Chip Seal with Fog Sealcoat, Cape Seal, and Crack Seal
This Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and work required to complete the paving work, as more clearly specified in the Contract Documents. The following are estimated quantities: 110,000 SY of Bituminous Fiber Reinforced Seal Coat, 39,000 SY of Micro-Surfacing, 72,000 SY of Fog Seal, 300,000 LF of Crack Seal, and 45,000 LF of Line Paint.
Bidding documents are available at no cost on PennBid www.pennbid.net. Proposal shall be submitted upon forms provided by the Township.
Bids will be received electronically via the PennBid Program until Thursday, March 19, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened, with the results made available on PennBid. Bids submitted directly to Cranberry Township will be invalid and considered non-responsive.
Questions regarding this bid shall be submitted via the “Massages” feature within PennBid.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of One-Thousand Dollars ($1,000) payable to Cranberry Township.
Bidders must also provide evidence of PENNDOT prequalification in all aspects of the work.
Invitation, preparation, submittals, bidding requirements, all materials furnished, and all work performed shall conform to the current specifications of PENNDOT Form 408, current edition and specified bulletins.
The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
