TOWN OF BRECKENRIDGE

Install and Take-Down of Holiday Lighting in the Breckenridge Median, Round-a-bout, Town Sign, Blue River Plaza areas, Riverwalk Corridor area, Town Hall, Breck Pro Building, Wellington/Sawmill Lot, and ~170 Garlands & Bows on Town Streetlights and Bridges

The Town of Breckenridge is soliciting written bids from qualified parties to be considered.  Interested parties shall submit a written bid by the stated deadline, meet the established criteria as described in the attached instructions, and represent the intent, proven capability, and true commitment.  Information submitted will be subject to verification.


The Town of Breckenridge is seeking bids for the installation and take-down of Holiday Lighting in the Breckenridge SH 9 Median, SH 9 Round-a-bout, Town Sign, Blue River Plaza, Riverwalk Corridor area, Town Hall, Wellington/Sawmill Lot, and approximately 170 Garlands & Bows on Town Streetlights and bridges. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all holiday light installations are connected to digital timers equipped with battery backup. It has been estimated that approximately 70 digital timers will be required to adequately manage holiday light installations throughout the Town of Breckenridge.  Digital timers must be programmed to operate on a predetermined schedule as agreed upon with the Town of Breckenridge .  The contractor will be responsible for all necessary preparation work.  The contractor will be responsible for any and all tools and or equipment necessary to complete the work in a safe manner.  The contractor will be responsible for professional traffic control, including a Traffic Control Supervisor during the installation and takedown process to include the shutting down of two lanes adjacent to the work site.

There will be a question deadline of September 10th, 2025 at 10:30am .  Any questions can be directed to Kyle Gilmore, Parks Assistant Manager via email at kyleg@townofbreckenridge.com.Following the deadline, there will be an addendum with all of the submitted questions and answers sent to all bid holders.

  • All bids shall be submitted via email to: kyleg@townofbreckenridge.com and Websiteclerk@townofbreckenridge.com
  • All bids shall be plainly titled “2025 Request for Bid – Install and Take-Down of Holiday Lighting in the Breckenridge Median, Round-a-bout, Town Sign, Blue River Plaza areas, Riverwalk Corridor area, Town Hall, Breck Pro Building, Wellington/Sawmill Lot, and ~170 Garlands & Bows on Town Streetlights and Bridges”
  • No other bid format will be accepted.
  • All bids shall include a completed application.  All bids must be prepared and signed by the bidder(s).  Such bids become the property of the Town and will not be returned.  Incomplete applications may not be considered for award.
  • Any bids received after the time and date establish

Deadline for submission of bids shall be 3:30pm on September 12 th , 2025 , via email to: kyleg@townofbreckenridge.com and Websiteclerk@townofbreckenridge.com. Any bids received after the time and date established as the deadline for submission shall not be considered. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time for opening of bids.
