FCI TEXARKANA - Perimeter Fence Detection System Replacement - Project 25Z5AG2

Dear Quoter:

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas, intends to issue solicitation 15B51525Q00000020 for the requirement of the replacement of the perimeter fence detection system. The NAICS code or this requirement is 334290.

The contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. The evaluation factors are Price, Past Performance and Capabilities to perform and supply the items specified in the solicitation. Price will be rated higher than Past Performance and supplies. Supplies and materials must be equal to those described in the solicitation. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Failure to deliver within the established time frames will be considered as Non-Conformance under the contract terms.

The solicitation will be made available on or about May 27, 2025, and will be posted to the General Services Opportunities website www.sam.gov. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 11, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. Central Standard Time via e-mail to Tex-ProcurementProp-s@bop.gov. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via www.sam.gov. All responsible vendors may submit a proposal which will be considered. The anticipated date of award is June 17, 2025.
