ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of the 2 Million Gallon Ground Storage Tank Rehabilitation to serve the Madison County Regional Water District will be received by the Madison County Regional Water District at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri. Road, P.O. Box 238, Springdale, Arkansas 72674 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday November 9, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read.
The project consists of the following:
• Modifications to a welded steel tank including the removal and replacement of a damaged roof, support structure, and Internal welding improvements.
• Sandblast and Re-paint the interior and exterior of the 2-million-gallon ground storage tank
• Modifications to install a Suspended Mount Active Mixing System on the tank inlet.
• Site clearing and disposal of plant/tree debris and site restoration.
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer.
Printed copies may be obtained at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri Road, P.O. Box 282, Springdale, Arkansas 72765, Phone 479-751-8733, upon a non-refundable payment of One Hundred dollars ($100.00) for each set. Digital copies may be examined and obtained ($40 cost per set obtained) at

or through QuestCDN. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents, in either electronic or paper format, are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
All bidders must be aware that all work must be substantially complete and the rehabilitated tank in service within 120 calendar days from January 15, 2025 to May 15, 2025 as specified in the contract documents. Substantial daily liquidated damages will be levied for any days beyond the allotted contract time required for substantial completion to be attained.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
