REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Construction Manager at Risk for Outdoor Entertainment Venue
The City of Bryant is accepting statements of qualifications from construction management firms licensed to do business within the State of Arkansas to provide construction management/general contractor (CM/GC) services as a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR)/guaranteed maximum (GMP) project for the construction of an outdoor entertainment venue designed to accommodate approximately 5,000 to 9,000 attendees.
Professional Services required include:
1. Ensure all funds are spent in accordance with procurement procedures approved by the City
2. Guaranteed maximum price construction
3. Estimating
4. Subcontractor bidding
5. Project and change order pricing
6. Street Demolition
7. Schedule control
8. Cost reduction and control
9. Project coordination
10. Project close out
11. Warranty
Responding firms are requested to provide along with any other information they feel is relevant for consideration, but must include the following in their response (additional information at www.cityofbryant.com/pages/bids ):
1. A narrative outlining the approach to fulfill the requirements in a cost-effective manner.
2. A description of experience in providing the same or similar services, including the names of the person(s) who will provide the services, their qualifications, and the years of experience in performing this type of work.
3. References familiar with the quality of work of the firm;
4. Other factors that may be appropriate to the scope of the work identified in the RFQ.

One original signed, one electronic, and five (5) copies of responses must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. (CDT) on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Any responses received after this deadline will not be considered. All statements of qualifications will be kept on record during fiscal years 2024-2026. When projects are initiated, the City of Bryant will use the submitted information to select qualified firms; it will select the best qualified from that list and then commence contract negotiations with the selected firm. At the City’s option, it may seek proposals for a particular project from one or more of the selected firms to aid in the selection process. The City of Bryant encourages participation of small, minority, and woman-owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, professional services, and construction, either as a general contractor or as subcontractor. It is further requested that whenever possible, majority contractors who require subcontractors, seek qualified small, minority, and woman businesses to partner with them.
