ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of the ARDOT Highway 412/62 Water Main Relocation (ARDOT Job No. 090581) to serve the Valley Springs Public Water System will be received at the offices of Valley Springs Water Department located at 8141 Elm St., Valley Springs, Arkansas,72601 until 11:00 a.m. local time on November 14th, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the following:
• Approximately 600 L.F of 6” Diameter C900 DR-18 PVC Water Main.
• Approximately 3,150 L.F. of 4” Diameter C900 DR-18 PVC Water Main.
• Approximately 100 L.F. of open-cut split encasement for 6” Diameter Water Main.
• All necessary gate valves, gravel road crossings, driveway crossings, meter relocations, connection to existing water mains, and all related accessories.
• This is an “American Iron and Steel (AIS)” project and must meet all “Build America Buy America (BABA)” requirements.
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer, or at the offices of Valley Springs Water Department in Valley Springs, Arkansas.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained online at engineeringservices.com upon payment of $40 for each set or at the office of Engineering Services, Inc. located at 1207 S. Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765 upon payment of $150 for each set.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
