Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) only, issued for informational and planning purposes. It does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pursue any specific acquisition alternative. Responding to this RFI is entirely voluntary, and the Government will not cover any costs incurred in doing so. Respondents are solely responsible for marking and identifying any proprietary information within their responses, as the Government assumes no liability for improperly marked data. Responses to this RFI do not constitute offers and will not be accepted as such. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation.



The Space Rapid Capabilites Office (SpRCO) is seeking information from local small businesses in the Albuquerque, NM area regarding their capabilities in repairing an existing Hirsch Velocity Access Control System. This RFI is being issued to inform potential procurement strategies and does not consituite a guarantee of future work or a formal solicitation. The repair will entail the following work:




  • Replace 5 SNIB3 communication board, 1 for each controller.

  • Replace 1 CCM MX8.

  • Replace 10 batteries for Hirsch panels.

  • Install 10 batteries for lock power supplies. Power supplies do not have batteries installed.

  • Update Velocity software and update Velocity version to current.



Interested local small businesses to the Albuquerque, NM area are encouraged to respond with relevant information, as a formal RFQ may be issued in the future. The work will be performed at Kirtland AFB, NM.
