Wolters Kluwer Subscription

The Department of Human Services (DHS) intends on renewing their subscription with Wolters Kluwer. DHS determined that Wolters Kluwer is the only electronic legal and regulatory reference tool that fully integrates all compliance sources to permit accurate and timely regulatory compliance and operational guidance. The Wolters Kluwer subscription includes CMS bulletins and program manuals, FAQs, court cases, administrative decisions, state and federal regulations, and other tools frequently used by DHS division staff. When researching other options, it was determined other legal reference services are focused on litigation research rather than compliance that would not assist in review of internal policies, audits, employee training and conducting risk assessments. For these reasons, the Department of Human Services, has determined this to be a single source purchase.
