In accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Redding, sealed bids will be
received by City Clerk’s third floor office at City Hall, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California 96001-2718,
until 3:00 p.m. PT, Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, for furnishing and delivering to the City of Redding,
One (1) F-550 DRW 4WD CREW CAB WITH FLATBED BODY per the bid specifications and general conditions.
BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THIS TIME AND DATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR CONSIDERED.
The said bids will be opened at 3:00 p.m. PT, on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, in the designated
City Hall Conference Room as posted in the main lobby of City Hall, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding,
California.
All bids must be submitted on standard bid forms provided by the City of Redding. The bidder shall
provide the original (unbound) and one (1) copy of the bid proposal. Fax or electronic submission of bid
proposals will not be allowed. The City will award any resulting contract in a manner consistent with the City
purchasing ordinance.
The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this bid is 3:00 p.m. PT, on
Friday, December 5, 2025. All inquiries must be made in writing and may be submitted to the email address
shown below.

NOTE
If a potential bidder received this solicitation document through some means other
than from the City of Redding (including from the City of Redding Internet web site), it is
the responsibility of the potential bidder to advise the assigned City of Redding
Purchasing contact of its intention to submit a bid so that any addenda or other
correspondence related to this solicitation will be sent to the potential bidder. When
contacting the Purchasing Division, the bidder shall provide the solicitation number
located on the cover page of this document. Transmittal of this information must be in

The prices quoted herein are firm, and are not subject to change. The City reserves the right to
reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities.
It is understood that this bid shall remain open and shall not be withdrawn for a period of sixty
(60) days from the date prescribed for the opening of the bid.
It is further agreed that the vehicle to be furnished under this proposal will be delivered f.o.b.
City of Redding, Redding, California, with supplier paying any and all shipping or delivery costs,

These specifications are not meant to limit the vendor; they are to be guidelines for
minimum qualifications. Alternate bids are encouraged.
Bidder shall complete every space in the BIDDER’S PROPOSAL column either by
stating “meets specifications” or by describing any deviations to the specifications.
Failure to complete all spaces may result in the bid being invalidated.
SPECIFICATIONS
1. One (1) new, unused 2025 or newest model available Ford
F550 chassis cab, XL, dual rear wheels DRW, 4WD, crew cab,
204” WB, 84” CA with a flatbed body. All equipment supplied
under specifications shall be the manufacturer’s latest
changes, revisions, and additions at the time of delivery.

3. The vehicle furnished to meet these specifications, including all
equipment and accessories, must comply with the
requirements of the California Vehicle Code, California Air
Pollution Control Board, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety
Standards, and CAL/OSHA Standards.
5. The vehicle shall be serviced, cleaned, and ready for
immediate operation when delivered.
6. DOCUMENTATION:
