Lease and Development of Dining Establishment at Fitchburg Municipal Airport

The City of Fitchburg and Airport Commission, through the Chief Procurement Officer, is accepting proposals for the lease of land, and development of a dining establishment (restaurant/diner) on property adjacent to the Airport Administration Building at Fitchburg Municipal Airport.

Proposals will be received until May 1, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the office of the Chief Procurement Officer, City Hall, 718 Main Street, Suite 208, Fitchburg, MA and at that time and place will be publicly opened and recorded.

This property will be leased to the proposer submitting the most advantageous proposal, if in the best interest of the City.

This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of MGL c. 30B and any resulting lease will be made in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to waive informalities, negotiate with the successful proposer, or to reject all proposals. The City of Fitchburg is not liable for any costs incurred by the proposer in submitting this proposal.

Solicitation documents may be obtained via the City’s website at www.fitchburgma.gov /bids. Complete sets of solicitation documents shall be used in preparing proposals; the City does not assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of documents or for modifications to the documents including electronic conversion.

Proposers shall examine all information and materials contained in and with this solicitation. Failure to do so shall be at the proposer’s risk.

There will be pre-proposal briefings and question and answer sessions, along with a site visits on two dates for the convenience and consideration of potential proposers: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 10:00 am and Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Fitchburg Municipal Airport Administration Building. Interested parties may attend one or both.
