The County is seeking proposals from Los Angeles County-based, nonprofit legal service providers to continue providing self-help legal access center (SHLAC) services at Los Angeles Superior Courthouses. SHLAC provides free legal information and resources to hundreds of thousands of County constituents seeking to represent themselves in court on a variety of civil legal matters, including paternity, guardianship, domestic violence, consumer debt, unlawful detainer, and divorce. Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
