Description
Direct Operations within Seniors, Community and Social Services have Business Continuity Plans, which are arrangements and procedures to ensure essential business functions can continue within planned levels during an emergency (e.g., staff shortages during a pandemic or business disruption that impacts staffing and services). To mitigate potential risks, this procurement will enable Disability Services to ensure critical services are provided to individuals residing at Direct Operations’ sites in the event of an emergency. Successful Proponent(s) must have access to a workforce of suitable qualified staff that can be mobilized quickly to provide personal care and home living supports to Residents at Direct Operations’ site(s) in the event of an emergency.
The range of services required will vary depending on the needs of the Direct Operations' site and the specific business continuity situation. Business Continuity support may include the following roles: Registered Nurse (regulated); Licensed Practical Nurse (regulated); Health Care Aide (regulated); Cook; and Facility Support – Cleaning Porter.
