APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne) is assisting the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the implementation of a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) to address groundwater contamination at a former USDA – Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) site in York, Nebraska. (See General Site Map.pdf) The work requires the installation of a groundwater extraction and treatment system (GETS) in accordance with the Remedial System engineering design that has received State regulatory approval. This system will extract and treat (using air stripping) groundwater contaminated by carbon tetrachloride and chloroform. The contractor is to provide all necessary labor, equipment tools, supplies, and materials to successfully install the GETS system. Tasks include pre-construction planning and submittals; pre-construction meetings; site preparation and surveys prior to construction. The construction work will include the drilling of 3 extraction wells and 2 injection wells; onsite layout and installation of groundwater conveyance and related piping; installation of a gravel pad; installation of a groundwater treatment plant (GTP) housed in a prefabricated building (GTP building; with included air stripper and related internal piping and instrumentation, to be supplied and shipped by an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) separate from this RFI); provision and installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and related communications systems; site restoration; system startup and commissioning; construction close-out demobilization; and completion reporting.
Please confirm if you are/are not interested in this project to Robert Kman (kman@anl.gov) so I can track interest.
