Separate sealed bids for the City of Clinton Police Department remodel will be received by the City of Clinton until 10:30 am CDT, Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 211 Court Street, Clinton, Arkansas, 72031. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this location following the 10:30 am deadline.
This project will consist of two adjacent one-story buildings being renovated into one unit. A general layout print and a materials list will be provided. These will be available by emailing dmalone@clintonar.gov . You may contact Clinton City Hall at (501) 745-8110 Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm or call Richard McCormac at (501) 253-0160 during or after regular business hours for further information.
A pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30 am CDT at the site, 193 &197 Court Street, Clinton Arkansas 72031. A walk-through is mandatory. Failure to attend the walk-through will automatically disqualify potential bidders. Individual walk-throughs will possibly be available but not guaranteed.
Each bid proposal shall include with it a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid offered. If the bid is in excess of $50,000, the bidder will be required to submit a bidder’s deposit which includes enclosing a cashier’s check payable to the order of the City of Clinton and drawn from a bank or trust company doing business in the State of Arkansas or by a corporate bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the bid. All bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors and must be licensed on the day of the bid submittal. There shall be only one (1) bid submitted per State Contractor’s License. Each bid received shall have the license for that bidder. The Bid shall be submitted on the form provided by the Owner and shall be delivered in a clearly identified, sealed, opaque envelope. The City of Clinton reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities.
Pursuant to Arkansas Code 22-9-203, the City of Clinton encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bid for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all and waive formalities.
