REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NOTICE

The City of Rio Grande City is soliciting for Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for “Professional

Engineering Services” to assist the Rio Grande City Public Library in the overall design of the

broadband infrastructure and connectivity of the proposed 2026 Library Infrastructure Facility

Improvement (LIFI) Grant Program funded by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission

(TSLAC). The statement of qualifications will be due at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 7, 2026 to

the City Secretary’s Office located in City Hall at 5332 E. US Highway 83, Rio Grande City, Texas

78582.

The City of Rio Grande City, reserves the right to reject any or all RFQ’s or to waive any

informalities in the statement of qualifications. RFQ’s may be held by the City for a period not to

exceed 60 days from the date the statement of qualifications was due for the purpose of reviewing

and investigating the firm’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
