| Description: | EWU has been working on our UPS inventory and replacement plan keeping our goal in mind which is to simplify our UPS environment by standardizing on one manufacturer utilizing only two models. We determined that a full replacement of our UPS gear on campus will be the most ideal solution as most of our UPS gear is between the manufacturing years of 2010-2017. These units are failing, and battery replacements are currently bought as needed due to little or no inventory for certain models. |
