Description
qualified, licensed professionals to undertake the development of an Accessibility and
Inclusion Assessment and Action Plan as set out in Part D, Scope of Work, of this RFP.
The Accessibility and Inclusion Assessment and Action Plan is the next step toward
meeting the requirements of the Accessible British Columbia Act while using a greater
equity, diversity and inclusion lens. The Village participated in the development of a
Comox Valley Local Governments Accessibility Framework in September 2023, which
sets out principles and a process to address systemic barriers to local government
programs, services and infrastructure.
