This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, which is expected to result in award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The 88CES/CEOEM Steam Plant Area B at Wright-Patterson Air Force base (WPAFB) has a requirement for the purchase of a Safety Shutoff Valve. The specifications are outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. Please see attachment 2 Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items which provides additional instructions.
