The Minnesota Department of Health Public Health Laboratory (PHL) intends to enter into an agreement with Remel to purchase custom minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) panels.
The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) panels custom made to the specifications of, and validated for, the cooperative agreement between the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and PHL are the only available products that meets the Agency’s business needs. This is deemed a single source purchase because the custom minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) panels are solely manufactured, distributed, and supported by Remel and is not available from other third parties.
