Aerial Photography Northern British Columbia

BC Assessment requires a qualified Contractor to provide oblique and vertical aerial photographs of designated sites throughout northern British Columbia, primarily in the northeast corner of the province from the Tumbler Ridge area north to the British Columbia border.

The timing of Projects will predominately be during the summer months, however, there may be other times throughout the year when this service is required.

BC Assessment’s requirement for the aerial photography will vary annually depending on industry activity and the volume of Projects, which can vary greatly from one year to the next. However, anticipated volumes for the services as described in this RFP based on average requirements over the last 5 years is +/-500 sites and +/- 150 hours of flying time per year. BC Assessment does not anticipate the work in 2025 to exceed $100,000.

Although the list of designated sites to be flown is made available in the spring, there may be occasions where BC Assessment requires ad hoc flights which may be fewer than 10 sites.
