The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to W.W. Grainger, Inc. to provide electrical, mechanical, welding supplies, motors, machining materials, pumps, hardware, etc., on an as-needed basis as required by the GIMC Facility Management Department.
The period of performance will be:
Base Year: 8/1/2025 to 7/31/2026
Option Year One: 8/1/2026 to 7/31/2027
Option Year Two: 8/1/2027 to 7/31/2028
In accordance with FAR 13.303-2(c)(1), GIMC initiated a multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) strategy with several contractors. In the initial Notice of Intent posting, GIMC stated that if additional BPAs are deemed to be in the best interest of the government, capable vendors may be contacted. As such, W.W. Grainger, Inc. will be included in this strategy to support the operational needs of the GIMC Facility Management department.
The procurement will be solicited from a single source in the open market using the principles of FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items.
This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A solicitation will not be issued. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents concerning any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
Any potential sources other than W.W. Grainger, Inc. may submit a capability statement via email to Mr. Stephen Silversmith, Contract Specialist, by 10:00 A.M. MT on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
