Garrison-Quincy Water District is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Water Treatment Plant Upgrade and Tank Repaint

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Garrison-Quincy Water District office located at 284 Murphy Lane, Garrison Kentucky, until Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM local time . At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. If the bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope and mailed to the Garrison-Quincy Water District, P.O. Box 279, Garrison, KY 41141 allowing sufficient time for such mailing to reach this address prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals.

The Project includes the following Work:

  • Contract I (Water Treatment Plant Upgrade) – Replace piping, pumps, chlorine feed equipment, furnish and install electrical equipment and other miscellaneous items.
  • Contract II (Water Storage Tank Repaint) – Complete blast and repaint the interior and exterior of a 105,000 gallon ground water storage tank and other miscellaneous repairs.

Time allowed for completion: Contract I (WTP Upgrade) 30 consecutive calendar days.

Contract II (Water Storage Tank Repaint) 45 calendar days.

The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is HMB Professional Engineer, LLC, 3 HMB Circle, Frankfort, KY 40601. Prospective bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the issuing office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. following place:

    Printed or electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from LYNN IMAGING, 328 Old Vine Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40507, upon payment as follows:

    • Contract I (WTP) $300 per set (Hard Copy); $200 per copy (Electronic Copy).
    • Contract (Water Storage Tank Repaint) $250 per set (Hard Copy); $200 per copy (Electronic Copy)

Domestic Preference:

This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, §§ 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States.
