Solicitation Description:

This is a new contract for slab concrete needed for station rehabilitation. FMNT is responsible for maintenance of over seventeen million square feet of concrete and asphalt surfaces at all rail stations and facilities system-wide. The existing concrete becomes damaged because of weathering, high traffic volume and oversized vehicle activity, thus requiring repairs to eliminate safety hazards and improve overall conditions for WMATA Employees and customers. The purchase of concrete under this contract ensures proper material availability for WMATA personnel to complete these repairs in a timely manner.
