The City of Taylor is requesting bids for the construction of the following project: Perimeter
fencing project. The project includes fencing to be put up around the perimeter of the
public works building located at 205 S Edmond St., Taylor, TX 76574. Contractor must
supply all materials and equipment to complete the project.

6’ Chain link fence approximately 1,750 Linear feet diamond galvanized chain link, 2 7/8” OD
terminal set in a 12” wide x 36” deep concrete footing, 2 3/8” of line posts space 10’ on center
and set in a 9” wide x 36” deep concrete footing. 1 5/8” OD top rail and braces, 3 strands of
barb wire, 7 ga. Bottom tension wire, and a 20 ft. wide swing gate (2) 10 ft. sections manual
opening on right-of-way side of property.

CITY OF TAYLOR INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Bidder/Proposer performing work on City property or public right-of-way for the City of
Taylor shall provide the City a certificate of insurance evidencing the coverage provisions
identified herein. Bidder/Proposer shall provide the City evidence that all subcontractors
performing work on the project have the same types and amounts of coverage as required
herein or that the subcontractors are included under the contractor's policy. The City, at its
own discretion, may require a certified copy of the policy.
All insurance companies and coverage must be authorized by the Texas Department of
Insurance to transact business in the State of Texas and must be acceptable to the City of
Taylor.
Listed below are the types and amounts of insurance required. The City reserves the right to
amend or require additional types and amounts of coverage or provisions depending on the
nature of the work.
