Landfill Gas Utilization Project

Notice is hereby given that the Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority (MCRWMA) has released project number RFP20260421MCRWMA – Landfill Gas Utilization Project. MCRWMA is seeking proposals from qualified firms to design, permit, construct, finance, operate, and maintain a landfill gas utilization facility at the Highway 59 Landfill.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting and project site visit will be held on April 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PDT at the Highway 59 Landfill, located at 7040 N. Highway 59, Merced, CA 95348. Proposers are responsible for making certain their proposal documentation is complete and is received by MCRWMA on or before the closing deadline. MCRWMA is not liable for any costs incurred by proposers in responding to the RFP. MCRWMA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the RFP. Any alterations to the RFP will be made by written addenda only.
