Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Orange Keywords: Construction (Non Building), Culvert Replacement Bid Description: The Town is accepting sealed bids for the following infrastructure improvement project. Remove existing 15" culvert and install a new 18" culvert (provided by the Town); Widen the roadway to a total width of 22 feet; Excavate and shape ditches 140 feet upstream and downstream from the culvert location; Stone-line both the inlet and outlet of the culvert; Adjust the culvert grade to bring it closer to the road surface. Work is supervised by the Road Foreman and/or the Highway Supervisor. Work must be started on or before 11/10/25. The Town will supply all necessary materials, including the new culvert, the stone and trucking for ditch materials. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Culvert Replacement Bid” and received at the Town Hall no later than 3:00pm on 11/4/25. Town Hall, 2895 VT Rte. 110, Washington, VT 05675.
