RUNWAY 6-24 RECONSTRUCTION
AT THE PLYMOUTH MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
Town of Plymouth, Massachusetts
Sealed bids for “Runway 6-24 Reconstruction at the Plymouth Municipal Airport, prepared in accordance
with instructions and other provisions of the Contract Documents, will be received by the Plymouth
Airport Commission at the office of the Airport Manager, Plymouth Airport, 246 South Meadow Road,
Plymouth, Massachusetts 02360 until 1:00 PM local time, on April 23, 2026 at which time and place all
bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted.
Drawings and Contract Documents in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format may be downloaded as outlined below.
Copies of the Drawings and Contract Documents, and addendums (if issued) will be available for free
download beginning on March 25, 2026 at the following website:

Under the Project Name:
“Plymouth Municipal Airport –RUNWAY 6-24 RECONSTRUCTION
Once the bidder requests plans via the above website, an email will be sent to the email address provided
containing a link to download the bid documents and plan set.
Addendums and other additional or revised Contract Documents will be available on the website ONLY and
it is the Bidder’s sole responsibility to check the website for additions or revisions up to the day prior to the
due date for Proposals listed above. Addendums and other additional or revised Contract Documents will not
be transmitted directly to Bidders or Plan Holders.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the Plymouth Airport Administration Building at 1:00 PM on April 8,
2026 to review the project and site conditions.
Bid Security: Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the
bid. Bid security may be in the form of a certified check drawn upon a bank within the State of
Massachusetts, or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of
Massachusetts, made payable to the Owner.
The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond and will
be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of his
bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, to waive any informality on bids
received and to omit any item or items deemed advisable for the best interest of the Owner.
Attention of bidders is called particularly to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed
and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract.
Bidders will be expected to comply with DBE requirements of 49CFR Part 23. The requirements for bidders
and contractors under this order are explained in the contract documents.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 180 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
