INVITATION FOR BIDS-REVERSE AUCTION
Notice is hereby given that AAA Ambulance Service will receive sealed bids to prequalify
bidders for participation in a reverse auction until 2:00 p.m. on the 30th day of September
2026, for the purchase of the following, to wit:
Two (2) ambulance remounts on 2026 or newer chassis according to the specifications on
file in the office of the Chief Executive Officer of AAA Ambulance Service whose office is
located at:
100 Rawls Springs Loop Road, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 39402
(P.O. Box 17889, Hattiesburg, MS 39404-7889).
Bid documents/specifications may be obtained from AAA Ambulance Service, as
referenced above, at no charge, or online at http://www.centralbidding.com, for a charge of
$49.99.
Each bidder shall include in its bid a detailed description of the ambulance remounts it is
offering and the pricing for same, inclusive of the trade-in amount offered for the agencies
existing original chassis.
Bid documents may be submitted by hand delivery or mail to AAA Ambulance Service, 100
Rawls Springs Loop Road, Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39402 or at
http://www.centralbidding.com.
All bidders submitting qualified bids will be notified by AAA Ambulance Service of the
reverse auction start date/time at least seven (7) days prior to such reverse auction start
date/time.
The lowest and best bid may be accepted, but AAA Ambulance Service reserves the right
to reject any and all bids received and to waive informalities. So ordered on the Board
meeting of April 30, 2026.
