Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Lamoille Keywords: Construction (Non Building) Bid Description: Sealed bids for Stowe Cider Wastewater Pretreatment System Installation, will be received at the Stowe Cider Facility at 17 Town Farm Lane, Stowe, VT until Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. local time. After the deadline has passed, bids will be opened and reviewed privately by the Owner. Bids will not be opened and read publicly. The Work includes the following major items: 1. Exploratory Excavation to Characterize Subsurface Conditions. 2. Installation of a duplex submersible wastewater pump station and valve vault. 3. Installation of (4) precast tanks to support an MBR pretreatment process exterior to the Stowe Cider Facility. 4. Installation of vendor supplied equipment inside the dedicated process space, and inside the precast tanks set by the contractor. 5. Installation of gravity and force main piping between the tanks and interior process equipment. 6. Installation of electrical, control systems, and wiring necessary to support the MBR system. 7. Supporting filling and start-up of the pretreatment system by Champlin Associates and Enereau Systems Group, Inc. Electronic specifications and bid documents are available at the request of the contractor to the Owner and Engineer: Mark@stowecider.com & stan@tailwaterengineeringvt.com. With the request the contractor shall include the contractor name, a point of contact, a telephone number, and an e-mail address. Hard copies will not be provided by Owner or Engineer. Any previous plan documents, including specifications are not to be used for purposes of bidding this project. A mandatory pre-bid will be held at the project site on September 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Owner and Engineer by September 18, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Mark@stowecider.com & stan@tailwaterengineeringvt.com. Separate Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of bid for the Work in the form of a certified check or a Bid Bond executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in Vermont, made payable to the Owner shall be submitted with each general bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% PERFORMANCE BOND and a 100% PAYMENT BOND for the Work and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of their Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, to waive any informality on bids received, and to omit any item or items deemed advisable for the best interest of the OWNER. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
