2026 - Public Works - Construction Management and Inspection Services NEW!

The City of Compton Public Works Department is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering consultants to provide construction management and inspection services for the Street Rehabilitation Project. The project is specified to be completed in 180 working days. The Engineer’s estimate is approximately $3,024,120.

The proposed work shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications and other contract documents as specified herein and shall consist of the following general work descriptions: construction of Cold mill, ARHM pavement, AC Base course, Aggregate Base,  full depth AC slot pavement, curb and gutters, sidewalks, Cross Gutter, Alley Intersection, Driveway Approach, Curb Ramps, signing, striping, markings, and pavement legends, Speed Hump, traffic signal loop, adjust to grade existing sewer manhole, water valve, water meter, and storm drain manhole, and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Plans and Standard Specifications. The project location will be Tucker Street, Bradfield Avenue, and Greenleaf Boulevard.
